Greetings,

Spezia at CESENA - In the last two games, Cesena have beaten Brescia at home 2-1 (last week), and lost on the road 2-1 to poltergeist Hellas Verona. Prior to that, three straight games without a goal; highly uncharacteristic for Serie B's most offensive minded team (Juventus excluded). Perhaps they have regained their form. Very impressive home record to consider, 5W-5D-1L 15GS 9GA. As for Spezia, they deserved much better last week against Juventus, a game which they dominated, but came away with just 1 point. One has to wonder if they can duplicate the effort on the road against Cesena. Spezia's road record supports this hypothesis, with just 1 win and 4 draws in 10 games (of interest to me are the 16 goals allowed on the road...). Neither of the two in decent form, yet one has to consider that 9 out 10 road games for Spezia have produced a total of at least two goals. Cesena can score at home, and their defense is nothing of the Juventus kind, which means that Spezia has a legitimate chance of scoring, thus contributing to the over.

The play:
Spezia over 2 and 2.5 +100 (6 units)
Spezia +0.5 +105 (3.5 units)

MA says:The Euro books will be pounded with Cesena money. They may very likely win this game, but I will side with the dangerous dog, who have the potential to pull off the unexpected road victory. Then again, the draw will serve my purpose. Previous encouter in week one produced a lifeless 1-1 draw. I believe this time around it will be somewhat different. Within the confines of my madness I seek the 2-2 draw.

Cheers and good luck,

Ma
